“Beacon of the Light of Christ”

“Beacon of  the Light of Christ”

Last week,   we finalized a commitment to Lumen Christi Day.
This week,  we brought the “Light of Christ” to the Bishop Griffin Center

Last week,  we pursued individual interests.
This week,  we served by shelving food and sorting clothes at a food and clothing bank.

Last week,  we prepared to serve as a “Light of Christ”.
This week,  we were humble to meet a “Beacon of the Light of  Christ”  named Carl.  A man long in years and young in spirit.

We served the Bishop Griffin Center for a day.
Carl serves the Bishop Griffin Center daily.

  • He feeds the hungry
  • He clothes the naked.
  • He brings hope to the hopeless.

This week,  we served in the spirit of Lumen Christi.

Next week,  we will be humble to have experienced a “Beacon of the Light of Christ” named Carl.  A simple man who is a true servant of the Lord.
